This is an amazingly well-polished game. The Windows edition is as smooth as the original for PS3. With the bonus exclusive PC missions, I can't imagine how it can get any better.

Clean installation, clean update. So far I haven't found any bugs or glitches.

I can imagine it won't run very well on older machines. I recently upgraded my PC to 3.1Ghz Dual Core with 4Gb RAM and I have no problem running this game on maximum settings.

The widescreen display feels very comfortable. I have no trouble seeing all the details on my 19" LCD.

My only advice would be to get some kind of gamepad for Windows. I bought Logitech Rumblepad 2 Vibration Feedback Gamepad, since it's nearly impossible to accommodate a console game's control scheme on a PC. Playing it with a gamepad feels exactly like playing it on a PS3, but without the heavy console price.

My only regret is that I waited until recently to buy this game. This game was a great buy even at its full price. Now that they dropped the price, it's a steal. The average 3 stars it's getting here is completely unfair. It's not a frag fest for sure - it's more suitable to the thinking man or woman. If you like RPGs, stealth combat, sandbox-style exploration, and history of the crusades, this will be one of the best games you have ever played. Now I want a sequel.
